Let go of everything you thought you knew and discover life on a new trail through the Riverstead, from wild foraging to cooking with our chefs, tending your own garden, milking the cows and creating nature crafts with our guides. Get hands on

  • Farm & Garden: Help with morning tasks like tending the food garden or milking cows
  • Wild Foraging & Cooking: Gather fresh ingredients from the wild and cook directly alongside the chefs
  • Crafts: Participate in local nature crafts, such as basket-weaving and whittling a mokoro (traditional canoe)
  • Zambezi Joy Society: Visit the enterprising society of makers at Royal Chundu creating incredible chitenge items. Try our hand at sewing or have clothing designed and made for you.
  • Bush Life: Learn bush survival tactics, head out on island trails, discover the art of stargazing and gain all new wisdom of life on the Zambezi
  • School and Community Interaction: Engage in meaningful, offline activities designed to reconnect both adults and children with the joy of creating
